Vivo X Fold 5 Smartphone Indian Variant Color Choices and Storage Option Tipped: Could Likely Launch Next Month in the Country

The next generation Vivo X Fold 5 flagship smartphone is going to have its debut in the Chinese market next week and following this, the upcoming device is also reported to make its way to global markets including India. A new update has now arrived revealing the color choices and storage option that will be made available for the Vivo X Fold 5 smartphone in India, and the same source has also revealed its expected Indian launch time frame as well.

Vivo X Fold 5 (Indian Variant) – Tipped Color, Storage, and Launch Details

This update has been shared via the X tipster – @passionategeekz and as per what has been shared, unlike the Chinese market, the Indian customers will only be getting the Vivo X Fold 5 smartphone in Black and White colors at the time of its launch. The Green color variant will not be coming to India (at least for now) as noted by the tipster, and additionally he also adds that only the 512GB storage model will be introduced in the country. Furthermore, the tipster mentions that the device could be unveiled and made available for Indian customers next month in July 2025.

Regarding the debut of the device, it is scheduled to take place in China on the 25th of June 2025 (along with the Vivo TWS Air 3 Pro earbuds). Apart from the Chinese and Indian markets, the SIRIM and IMDA certifications have already confirmed the device’s launch in Malaysia and Singapore too.

About its revealed/expected specifications, via its recent Geekbench listing (of the Chinese variant) performance specs such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, Android 15 operating system, and 16GB RAM option were revealed. Other teased/revealed key specs include the 8T LTPO display panels (for main and cover displays), periscope telephoto lens (- 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens), 6000 mAh battery backup, 90W wired + wireless charging features, 5G/WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC connectivity support, Apple ecosystem compatibility, triple-proof dust and water protection (- IP5X dustproof protection, IPX8/IPX9/IPX9+ waterproof protection), 8.7 mm folded thickness, and 209 gm weight.
