Vivo X Fold 5 Launch Date Officially Announced in China: To Debut in Three Colors Along With Vivo’s TWS Air 3 Pro Earbuds
The Chinese consumer electronics maker – Vivo has been teasing its upcoming X Fold 5 foldable flagship smartphone for quite some time and following these, the brand has finally announced its official launch date. This upcoming device will be debuting in its home market soon and will be made available in three different color choices. Along with the X Fold 5, Vivo also plans to launch the TWS Air 3 Pro earbuds too on the same day.

Vivo’s X Fold 5 and TWS Air 3 Pro – Launching on 25th of June 2025
The Vivo X Fold 5 new product launch conference has been scheduled in China on the 25th of June 2025 at 7 PM local time, and this upcoming device has been teased with the tagline – ‘Lighter and Stronger’. Unlike its predecessor which had launched only in two colors (White, Black), Vivo plans to introduce its X Fold 5 in three colors this year. Apart from the White and Black colors, a Green color variant will also be introduced for the Vivo X Fold 5 foldable device.
Also to add, on the same day, Vivo has confirmed to launch the TWS Air 3 Pro earbuds as well, and this device is teased to be a more immersive and better-sounding super semi-in-ear noise-cancelling headphones. Moreover, the pre-reservation for the device is currently open in the Chinese market, and it will be unveiled in White and Black colors.
Looking at the previous teaser updates, mostly shared by Vivo’s Product Manager – Han Boxiao for the brand, its Apple inter-connectivity and display specs were shared online recently. It can work with other Apple products like iPhones, Macs, Watch, and AirPods, as well as work with iCloud. 8T LTPO display panels are going to be offered for both the cover display and main display, with high refresh rate, ultra-high resolution, ultra-high PPI, 4500 nits local peak brightness, high-frequency PWM dimming, Zeiss Master Color, and TUV Rheinland global eye protection 3.0 certification. Also, just recently, Han Boxiao confirmed that the device will sport a periscope telephoto lens (said to be a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens) and its 20x and 1x camera samples have been shared.

Other teased/revealed specs include normal power supply in -30°C environment, triple-proof protection against dust and water (IP5X dustproof protection, IPX8/IPX9/IPX9+ waterproof protection), 8.7 mm folded thickness, 209 gm weight, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 6000 mAh battery, 90W wired fast charging feature, wireless charging capability, and 5G/WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC connectivity support. The device has also been certified by the SIRIM and IMDA authority in addition to the 3C authority, and its launch in the Malaysian and Singaporean markets have thus been confirmed. Moreover, it is tipped to reach Indian shores too this year in 2025.
