In the Indian market, the Vivo S2 FE smartphone was launched yesterday, on 6th October 2026, while the Vivo V80 Lite 5G made its debut in Malaysia last month. Both these devices share most of their key specifications, and with S2 FE’s details now officially available, we can take a closer look at what is similar and what differs between them.

Vivo’s V80 Lite 5G and S2 FE – Specifications and Differences Compared

As mentioned, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G and Vivo S2 FE smartphones feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, and both these devices run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. Additionally, specifications which include a 6.83″ AMOLED display with a 2800 × 1260 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,000 nits of HBM brightness are offered on both models.

Speaking more about their cameras and battery, a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera are provided on these two smartphones. A 10,000mAh battery with 44W wired charging support is also included on both devices. The detailed comparison has been provided below.

About the differences, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G is offered to customers in three memory configurations – 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, and 8GB/256GB. On the other hand, the Vivo S2 FE has been introduced in two memory configurations – 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB – and a 256GB storage option is not offered for the Indian model.

Also to note, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G features NFC support, while the Vivo S2 FE does not support it. The former measures 8.59mm in thickness and weighs 224g, while the latter is listed with thickness options of 8.69mm and 8.59mm, as well as weights of 225g and 224g.

Regarding their colour choices, Pink, Green, and Black options are provided for the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia. Alongside the Stellar Green and Titan Black options, the Vivo S2 FE is offered in a Zen White colour, replacing the pink option available for the Malaysian device.

Notably, both smartphones share the same listed display, chipset, camera, battery, and charging specifications, although their memory options, NFC support, colours, and physical measurements differ as mentioned above.
