Vivo previously launched the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in the Pakistani market as a rebranded version of the Vivo S2, which recently made its debut in India. The brand later teased another smartphone carrying the same moniker for Malaysia, but with a different design and a much larger 10,000mAh battery.
Well, the Malaysian variant of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G has now been officially launched. Apart from its battery and design, the smartphone also features a different chipset.

Vivo V80 Lite 5G – Specifications and Features
Coming to its design, the Malaysian Vivo V80 Lite 5G features a Floating Crystal Camera Module accompanied by ultra-slim display bezels. The device offers a screen-to-body ratio of 94.47%.
The smartphone sports a 6.83″ 1.5K OLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 449 PPI pixel density, 1.07 billion colours, and up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness. The display further supports HDR10+ and has received HDR10+, SGS Five-Star Sunlight-Readable Display, SGS Low Blue Light, and SGS Low Flicker certifications.
On the performance side, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. It is claimed to have achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of up to 940,000 points and can keep up to 30 applications active in the background.
Vivo claims that it provides 10 times higher thermal conductivity and keeps the device 1.4°C cooler while playing short videos in hot weather as it features a 3,800mm² vapour-chamber cooling system, offering a 250% larger cooling area than the previous generation.
Coming to its battery details, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G packs a massive 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery featuring fourth-generation silicon-anode technology and comes with a claim that it can retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,400 complete charging cycles. The device also supports 44W FlashCharge and reverse charging.
The smartphone further comes with Battery Life Extender. When the remaining battery level becomes extremely low, the feature activates an ultra-low-power state that allows users to continue making calls or dial an emergency number.
Vivo also subjected the device to 32 hours and 37 minutes of continuous livestream testing. The test earned it a Guinness World Records title for the longest electronic product testing livestream on August 11th, 2026.
For photography, the rear sports a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera paired with a 2MP bokeh camera. At the front, the smartphone houses a 32MP selfie camera. Its AI Erase feature can remove passersby, reflections, and other unwanted objects from images.
Coming to its durability, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and has also passed five MIL-STD environmental tests covering high temperature, low temperature, rain, sand and dust, and shock.
For connectivity, the smartphone comes with AI SuperLink and a symmetrical dual low-frequency antenna design. Vivo claims that this setup can improve low-frequency signal strength by up to 81% in remote and rural areas.
On the software side, the device runs OriginOS 6 and features Origin Island for displaying system information and other glanceable interactions. Its Drag & Go feature allows users to save or share photos, links, and text using a single drag gesture.
The smartphone further comes with Office Kit, which enables users to access phone files through a computer, mirror the smartphone’s display, hand off tasks between devices, and use a shared clipboard.
Other software features include Google Gemini camera and screen sharing, AI Creation, and AI Captions. AI Creation can summarise, rewrite, expand, translate, or organise messages, whereas AI Captions provides real-time transcription and translation for meetings, calls, and videos, along with saveable summaries.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G – Malaysia Pricing and Availability
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G has been introduced in Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green, and Dawn Black colour options.
Its 6GB/128GB memory configuration is priced at RM1,399, whereas the 6GB/256GB and 8GB/256GB variants carry price tags of RM1,699 and RM1,899, respectively. The smartphone is now available for purchase in the Malaysian market.
Buyers will also receive a six-month Google One Standard subscription offering 100GB of cloud storage. The storage can be used across Google Photos, Gmail, and Google Drive.
