Clearly, both the REDMI Turbo 5 and POCO X8 Pro smartphones arrive with an almost similar set of specifications, and the two devices also share the same MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset.
Speaking about the pricing, the recent price hike has increased the pricing of several handsets, and looking at the current pricing of the POCO X8 Pro in India, its 8GB/256GB variant now stands at INR 34,999, up from its launch price of INR 29,999. The 12GB/256GB variant is now priced at INR 37,999, up from its launch price of INR 32,999.
On the other hand, the REDMI Turbo 5 has also been launched in the same memory options, and is priced at INR 35,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant and INR 38,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant with launch offers. This makes the REDMI Turbo 5 INR 1,000 costlier than the POCO X8 Pro. However, the REDMI Turbo 5 is also being offered with a 60% buyback promise if it is returned within one year.
So based on all these factors, without doubts, the REDMI Turbo 5 takes a slight edge over the POCO X8 Pro when battery, added design features, and buyback promise are considered. However, performance-wise, both smartphones feature the same chipset and there won’t be much of a difference between the two.
