Vivo X Fold 5 Pre-Reservation Now Open in China; Key Specs and More Design Images Again Shared
Vivo, the Chinese leading consumer electronics maker, has begun the pre-reservation for the next X Fold 5 smartphone in its home market. The key specs and design images of this upcoming device have again been shared by the brand.

Vivo X Fold 5 – Pre-Reservation Now Live in China
As mentioned, the pre-reservation for the Vivo X Fold 5 flagship foldable smartphone is currently live in the Chinese market and interested customers can book it for just CNY 9.9. Also, customers who purchase the device before the first sale week will be able to enjoy a new product package worth CNY 277. It will consist of a quarterly Tencent Video pass and two-year battery pack. Silver/Gold/Diamond members when purchasing via the official website/mall will be able to enjoy added benefits too with the product.
Coming to the teased key specs and design renders, the device is already pointed out to be the strongest and lightest foldable smartphone of the segment, and features such as the 6000 mAh battery, industry’s first 4th gen silicon anode technology with up to 12% silicon content, industry’s first 2nd gen semi-solid-state battery with -30°C operability, exclusive Zeiss super periscope telephoto lens, telephoto macro support, Zeiss full focal length portrait, IPX8/IPX9/IPX9+ waterproof capability, IP5X dustproof capability, -20°C anti-freeze, Apple Watch/AirPods/Mac/iCloud/iPhone and multi-tasking compatibility have been reiterated.
The Vivo X Fold 5 will be arriving in three different colors of Black, Green, and White, and the design images of all these color variants have been shared. The multiple color choices also suggest the versatility of the device for multiple occasions.
About the official launch, it is scheduled to take place on the 25th of June 2025 in China. Also to add, along with the Vivo X Fold 5 smartphone, the brand also plans to launch the Vivo TWS Air 3 Pro earbuds too. To note, the Vivo X Fold 5 is said to have its official sale in the Indian market on the 17th of July 2025 with an expected price tag of INR 1,39,999. In addition to the Indian market, the device’s launch in Malaysia and Singapore has also been confirmed with its SIRIM and IMDA certifications.
