Three upcoming POCO-branded smartphones have now made their appearances on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification database. The devices are revealed to be the POCO F9 Pro, POCO F9 Ultra, and POCO X8 5G, and their listings suggest that the brand could introduce them in the Indonesian market.

POCO F9 Pro, POCO F9 Ultra and POCO X8 5G – SDPPI Certification
On the Indonesian SDPPI certification platform, the three upcoming POCO smartphones have been listed under the applicant name of ‘PT Xiaomi Technology Indonesia’ and categorised as mobile phones. All three listings were issued on the 3rd of August 2026.

Although the SDPPI listings do not reveal the specifications or launch timelines of the three devices, their certifications suggest that they could be introduced in Indonesia in the future.
POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra
Speaking about the POCO F9 series, the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra have already been spotted on multiple certification platforms, including the GSMA IMEI, Singapore’s IMDA, Indonesia’s TKDN, and Taiwan’s NCC databases.
Via the IMEI database, it was revealed that POCO F9 Pro carries the model number ‘2607APCA5G’, whereas the POCO F9 Ultra bears the model number ‘26077PC53G’. The ‘G’ suffix present in both model numbers points to their global-market variants.
The same publication that had spotted these devices on the IMEI database had also mentioned that both smartphones could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. However, earlier rumours claimed that the higher-end POCO F9 Ultra may instead use the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro mobile platform. Therefore, the final chipset equipped on the Ultra model remains uncertain.
The report further points out that both devices could feature TCL-supplied AMOLED display panels supporting a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors are also tipped to be offered on the smartphones.
Coming to their batteries, the POCO F9 Pro is speculated to pack an 8,000mAh battery, whereas the POCO F9 Ultra could feature a larger 10,000mAh battery. Both models are tipped to support up to 100W wired fast charging, while previous certification details have specifically indicated up to 50W wireless charging support for the Ultra variant.
The two smartphones are expected to be released across several global markets, including the European Economic Area, Turkey, Indonesia, Russia, Taiwan, and Japan.
POCO X8 5G
Moving on to the POCO X8 5G, its ‘2607DPC18G’ model number has previously been spotted on the GSMA IMEI, EEC, TKDN, NBD import and export, Thailand’s NBTC, and Singapore’s IMDA certification platforms.
The previous NBTC and IMDA listings confirmed its POCO X8 moniker, 5G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity.
Looking at its model number, the device shares several similarities with the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G launched in China. The POCO model uses the ‘PC’ identifier instead of Redmi’s ‘RN’ identifier and carries the ‘G’ suffix for its global version. This suggests that the POCO X8 5G could arrive as a rebranded version of the Chinese Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G.
However, it is not yet known whether the upcoming POCO smartphone will retain the complete specifications of the Redmi device or arrive with certain market-specific changes.
