Yesterday, Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi officially confirmed that its new Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch globally this month. Alongside this smartphone series, the company is expected to unveil some other gadgets as well.
Last month, Xiaomi introduced its latest Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm in China, and now it is tipped that this smartwatch will make its debut globally alongside the Xiaomi 18 Pro series. Ahead of this rumoured launch, the renders and specs of the Xiaomi S5 41mm global variant have leaked online.
Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm: Global variant specs and renders leaked
The global version is revealed to arrive in two colours: black and light blue. The stainless steel case is said to have a diameter of 41mm and a thickness of only 9.9mm, and will weigh 36g without a strap.
It is tipped to feature a round 1.32-inch AMOLED display that offers 466 x 466 pixel resolution and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. The watch will run on the HyperOS system with a new glass-like interface and will also offer an interactive watch face with a pet that reacts to the weather or how much load you have behind you.
The smartwatch is said to have a battery capacity of 590 mAh, which is 84% more than its predecessor. The company promises up to 8 days of normal use and up to 14 days in a power-saving setting, where the watch measures the heart rate only once every 10 minutes.
For health monitoring, there is an optical heart rate sensor, three temperature sensors for accurately predicting the menstrual cycle, and the Health Summary function will summarise the overview of exercise and sleep, the watch will help monitor the calorie deficit and plan training according to the current condition.
A barometer and electronic compass, 5ATM water resistance, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity are also said to be some additional features of this wearable. According to the list of technical parameters, the watch will receive dual-band satellite navigation with support for GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS systems. It also mentions an NFC chip and WiFi in the 802.11ax standard.
There are rumours about the device being priced at CZK 5,469 or above 240 Euros. Though nothing is confirmed as of yet.
Apart from this, Xiaomi is also said to launch Xiaomi Clip earbuds alongside Xiaomi 18 Pro series as well. The Xiaomi Clip has already been introduced in the Chinese market. A tipster has exclusively shared some new details related to the Xiaomi Clip’s global pricing.
Xiaomi Clip: Global pricing details leaked
The Slovak store Planeo has Xiaomi Clip listed in four colours: Sane Gold, Pearl White, Frost Purple and Graphite Black. It lists the device at 137.90 euros, though the wearable cannot be ordered for now.
As per the listing, each earbud weighs 5.5g. The earbuds boast an IP57 dust and water resistance, an 11mm dynamic driver, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, 9 hours of listening on a single charge, up to 38 hours with the charging case, a USB-C port, three mics, and SBC and AAC supported codecs.
It is also tipped that the Czech company Alza is preparing product pages for the Xiaomi Clip. This information was revealed via the Google Search engine, which managed to index them with the alleged Czech price of 3,399 CZK.
