Xiaomi 17 Max Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, 200MP HP9 Main Camera Launched in China; Xiaomi Clip-on Earphones and Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro Also Introduced

As teased earlier, Xiaomi has now launched a series of gadgets in its home market, China, and in this article, we will share the details regarding the Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone, Xiaomi Clip-on Earphones, and Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro wearable device.

Xiaomi 17 Max – Pricing and Specs

The latest Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, integrated with the Adreno GPU, and it runs on the Android 16-based HyperOS 3.0 custom skin. Four storage options are available for the smartphone, and these include the 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB storage options (LPDDR5X RAM + UFS 4.1 storage). These variants are priced at CNY 4799, CNY 5399, CNY 5099, and CNY 5799, respectively. White, Pitch Black, and Clear Blue are its available colour choices.

For its display, a 6.9″ TCL M10 LTPO Real RGB OLED flat display screen is featured, which supports 2608 × 1200 pixels resolution and up to 3500nits peak brightness. Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0 protection and ultra-narrow 1.28mm bezels are also key display features.

On the camera side, the Xiaomi 17 Max sports a 200MP Samsung HP9 (1/1.4″) main camera with OIS support, a 50MP (1/2.88″) OV50M ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto camera with 70mm focal length and 15cm telemacro support. For selfies, the device offers a 32MP OV32D40 front-facing camera. Leica optics are also equipped on the smartphone.

It packs an 8000mAh battery, supporting up to 100W wired fast charging, 100W PPS charging, 50W wireless charging, 22.5W reverse wired charging, and reverse wireless charging support.

WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, IP69 rating, IR blaster, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, symmetrical dual 1115X speakers, 5500mm² VC cooling system, Surge P3 and Surge G2 chips, Xiaomi T1+ and T1 signal booster chips, 8.15mm ~ 8.2mm thickness, and 219gm ~ 225gm weight are its other key specs.

Xiaomi Clip-on Earphones – Pricing and Specs

The latest Xiaomi Clip-on Earphones have also been introduced in the Chinese market and feature an open-style listening experience along with Super XiaoAI smart companion support.

The Xiaomi Clip-on Earphones feature a biomimetic curved design with a waterdrop-shaped sound sphere and a golden curved battery case. Xiaomi notes that each earbud weighs only 5.5gm and it also features a high-performance memory titanium wire design along with a 3.4mm gold support ring.

For audio, the Xiaomi Clip-on Earphones are equipped with an 11mm large driver unit and support high-definition audio decoding. LHDC and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification are also supported on the earbuds, along with a triple-magnet system with VPU and directional sound transmission technology for improved sound positioning and reduced sound leakage.

Super XiaoAI support is also featured on the earbuds, supporting AI translation in 21 languages, independent recording, and AI smart transcription. Apple ecosystem compatibility is also offered, and users will be able to access translation support, recording transcription, dual-device connection, and map finding features.

Regarding battery life, the Xiaomi Clip-on Earphones are claimed to offer up to 9 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 38 hours of battery life together with the charging case. IP57-rated dust and water resistance is another key feature.

Forged Gold, Pearl White, Parrot Purple, and Basalt Black are its available colour choices. The Xiaomi Clip-on Earphones are currently available across all channels in China with a first sale price of CNY 799, while the recommended retail price is CNY 849.

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro – Pricing and Specs

Xiaomi has also introduced the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro wearable device in the Chinese market, and it features a lightweight aluminium alloy body along with sports and health management features.

A 1.74″ AMOLED display with ultra-narrow symmetrical bezels is featured on the wearable, supporting micro-curved surface design and up to 2000nits peak brightness. Xiaomi also offers a ceramic edition variant for the wearable.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro is equipped with a dual-light-group PPG sensor and Xiaomi claims heart rate monitoring accuracy of up to 98.2%. Features such as all-day heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring, stress monitoring, and sleep HRV monitoring are also supported on the wearable.

150+ sports modes are also featured on the wearable, along with a new cycling mode supporting real-time smartphone data synchronization. It also runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and supports game progress display, game status monitoring, and game battle report features.

Apple ecosystem compatibility, dual-device notifications, quick command access, multifunction NFC, and 5ATM water resistance are also offered on the wearable. Xiaomi claims up to 21 days of battery life on the device.

Coming to the pricing details, the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 standard edition is priced at CNY 279, while the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro and Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro Ceramic Edition are priced at CNY 449 and CNY 499 respectively. The wearable is currently available across Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Home, Xiaomi Youpin, authorized e-commerce platforms, and authorized retail stores in China.
