Increasing memory prices and tightening in supply chains have had an adverse effect on the electronics department, especially in the smartphone market. In the past few months, we have heard a lot of price hike announcements, while new devices are also being launched at higher prices in the market compared to their predecessors.
This ongoing situation has started affecting the pockets of global as well as Indian consumers. Just like other manufacturers, Lava will now be increasing prices across its smartphone portfolio.
Lava’s upcoming price revision
According to the company, device prices will increase by up to Rs 3000, with the revised pricing scheduled to take effect on 15th November, 2026. The current inventory remains available at previously set promotional rates ahead of the deadline.
In a statement, the company said, “In the current industry environment, ongoing memory shortages have necessitated a price revision of up to Rs 3,000 across our smartphone portfolio, effective 15th November, 2026.
Consumers looking to upgrade their devices have a strong opportunity at this moment, as our products are currently available at festive prices across leading e-commerce platforms and offline retail network. We should encourage customers to take advantage of the ongoing offers, before the revision comes into effect.”
The exact amount of the price hike for each smartphone is not yet revealed by the brand.
