Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G Global Variant – Spotted on NBD Database

As per the details available on the NBD database, a Xiaomi smartphone carrying the model number ‘2607DRA18G’ has appeared in multiple import and export records. While its moniker has not been mentioned in the listings, this model number shares similarities with the ‘2607DRA18C’ model number associated with the Chinese Redmi Note 17 Pro.

Only the final letter has been changed from ‘C’ to ‘G’, while the remaining model number is the same. Because of this, the newly spotted device is believed to be the global variant of the Redmi Note 17 Pro.

Speaking more, the NBD database shows four shipment records for the device, dated May 16th and May 25th, 2026. The records point out that the smartphone was shipped to Pakistan and Vietnam, while two memory configurations of 6GB/128GB and 4GB/64GB have also been mentioned.

Regarding its battery, tipster Kacper Skrzypek had earlier revealed that the global variant of the Redmi Note 17 Pro could pack an 8,340mAh battery, which is smaller than the massive 9,000mAh unit offered with its Chinese counterpart. The Indian variant, on the other hand, is tipped to retain the same 9,000mAh battery capacity as the Chinese model.

Furthermore, a POCO-branded smartphone carrying the model number ‘2607DPC18G’ has also appeared on this NBD database which shares similaarties with the Redmi Note 17 Pro global/Chinese variant’s model number, suggesting that this newly discovered Redmi smartphone may come as their rebrands. The same POCO model number had previously appeared on the EEC and Indonesian TKDN certification platforms as well.

However, i would not comment on its expected moniker at this time, as Xiaomi’s model-number and rebranding strategy has previously resulted in confusion. Earlier, the POCO device related to the Redmi Note 17 5G was widely expected to launch as the POCO M8 Plus, whereas the HyperOS codebase later revealed its moniker as the POCO M8 Power.

Because of this, it would be better to wait until more reliable firmware or certification details reveal the final marketing name of the ‘2607DPC18G’ smartphone.
