Mysterious POCO 5G Smartphone – Spotted on IMDA Certification
On Singapore’s IMDA certification platform, an upcoming POCO smartphone carrying the model number ‘26077PC53G’ has been listed under ‘Mobile Terminals’ as its equipment type, thereby confirming that it is a smartphone.
Speaking more, the equipment description mentions that the upcoming device will be a ‘5G Mobile Phone’ with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC connectivity support. However, the certification listing does not reveal its moniker, specifications, design, or other product-related details.

The ‘G’ letter given at the end of the model number suggests that this could be the global variant of the device. At this time, it is not sure under which POCO series the smartphone will make its debut.
We expect that the same model number may soon appear on other global certification databases, which could reveal additional details concerning the upcoming smartphone, including its marketing name and supported features.
In related news, Xiaomi is also expected to introduce its Redmi Note 17 series in the global and Indian markets. Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently claimed that the vanilla Redmi Note 17 5G could break its cover in India on August 6th, 2026. However, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the claimed Indian launch date yet.
At this time, other details concerning the mysterious POCO smartphone, including its launch timeline, market availability, and final moniker, are still under wraps.
