Here’s more about the update.
Samsung Galaxy A55 With One UI 8 – Geekbench Listing
Samsung’s Galaxy A55 smartphone is also expected to be among the eligible Galaxy smartphone devices that will be receiving the next One UI 8 stable update and this device only got the One UI 7 stable update last month in May 2025. Now, the Geekbench listing of a Galaxy A55 model running on the One UI 8 custom skin has been spotted, and with respect to the Geekbench listing of Galaxy A55 with One UI 7 onboard, significant optimizations have been brought to the Exynos 1480-powered smartphone as it has attained higher single-core score of 1150 points and higher multi-core scores of 3417 points.
Speaking of a few other related updates, a new One UI 8 build for this year’s Galaxy S25 series flagships was spotted just recently on the test server without a beta tag on it, suggesting that there is a possible One UI 8 stable build already ready for the latest Galaxy S25 series flagships. While it is still not sure whether it is this build that will arrive as the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series, it is assumed that around the same time when Samsung unveils its next Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 7 smartphone models with the Android 16-based One UI 8 pre-installed, the brand could also start the One UI 8 stable version update roll-out too.
Also to add, the Galaxy Unpacked event via which the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE/Special Edition are believed to be unveiled is scheduled to take place on the 9th of July 2025. The same event will also be marking the debut of the Galaxy Watch 8 series as well.
Stay tuned for more updates.
