Vivo X500 Series – BIS Certification
The model numbers ‘V2619’, ‘V2621’, and ‘V2610’, reportedly associated with the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500 Pro Max, respectively, have appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, pointing towards an India launch. However, its India launch was already expected, and the model numbers now showing up in the database reveal that all three models will be launching in India.
Just to add, the Vivo X500 series was previously tipped to launch in India by the end of November 2026. If this tipped timeline turns out to be accurate, we may be coming across the first official teasers from the brand shortly.
Speaking about their specifications, the Indian variants are expected to offer the same key specs as their global counterparts. This would mean a 7,500mAh battery for the vanilla Vivo X500, a 6,510mAh battery for the Vivo X500 Pro, and a 7,800mAh battery for the Vivo X500 Pro Max.
Speaking more, the BIS appearances suggest that preparations for the series’ India launch are underway, and further details concerning its specifications and availability are expected once the brand begins teasing the launch.
