Samsung Galaxy A55 (SM-A556B) users in Europe finally getting the stable OneUI 7 update

We all know how Samsung has been gradually rolling out the stable One UI 7 update to its Galaxy smartphones. While a few eligible devices are still awaiting the update, the Galaxy A55 has now joined the list. The stable One UI 7 update has started rolling out to users in Europe, and it’s expected to expand to other regions soon, including India (model SM-A556E).

The update is currently being rolled out with the build number A556BXXU7BYDB / A556BOXM7BYDB / A556BXXU7BYDC and has a total size of 2840.95 MB. It also includes the May 2025 security patch.

For users in India, tipster Tarun Vats has indicated that the update will be available for the Indian variant in the coming days. This One UI 7 update is expected to bring all the features found on the Galaxy A56, which runs One UI 7 out of the box.

On another note, there is growing speculation that Samsung might begin pushing One UI 8 early. However, based on the current rollout pace, it’s too soon to make any definitive comments. We’ll have to wait and see how things unfold.
