Samsung Galaxy S25 Series New One UI 8 Build Spotted With No Beta Tag: One UI 8 Stable Version for Galaxy S25 Series Ready?

It has now been reported (via SamMobile) that a new One UI 8 build for the Galaxy S25 series flagships has been uploaded on Samsung’s test server without a beta tag on it. This could mean that a One UI 8 stable version build is already ready for the Galaxy S25 series devices.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series – New One UI 8 Build With No Beta Tag Uploaded

This new One UI 8 build for the Galaxy S25 series has the build number – ‘BYFB’, and unlike the previous beta builds with the ‘Z’ letter at the beginning, this has the ‘B’ letter, pointing out that this is a non-beta build. While it isn’t sure whether or not this One UI 8 build will be rolled out as the stable version update, it can be assumed that a stable version build is now ready for the Galaxy S25 series. Also, this new update suggests that Samsung might be planning to begin the One UI 8 roll-out at the same time the brand releases its flagship Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 7 models as well (~ next month in July 2025).

Speaking more about the new One UI 8 build, while there aren’t any noticeable features additions, it is revealed that a few features that Samsung had previously announced are now working. A few of these include the new lock screen clock style that adjusts shape as per the wallpaper, wallpaper suggestions from Gallery, and the live captions for phone calls.

Also to add, Samsung has already announced its second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year for next month, and it will be conducted on the 9th of July 2025. Apart from the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE/Special Edition devices, the Galaxy Watch 8 series consisting of the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic models is also expected to debut at the upcoming event.
