Samsung’s Upcoming Tri-Fold Smartphone Mass Production Delayed, Reveals Tipster on X

Quite recently, we had come across a few more details concerning the upcoming triple folding smartphone that Samsung plans to unveil and following this, a new update has now revealed that the mass production of this device is still yet to start.
Here’s more about it.
Samsung Tri-Fold Smartphone – Mass Production Still Pending?
This update comes from the X tipster – @MaxJmB and as per his X post, he notes that the components for the Samsung triple folding smartphone with the codename – ‘Q7M’ have been in production for over a month – since 28th March 2025. However, he adds that the mass production of the device has not yet started and is delayed. The reason for why this delay hasn’t been mentioned by the tipster in his X post but from what can be understood, this may affect the launch of the device and it could be extended more.
Speaking more, Samsung is expected to unveil its next generation of foldables – the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the third quarter of this year, likely in the month of July 2025. While earlier updates suggested that the brand would possibly launch its tri-fold too alongside the mentioned two foldables, newer updates had pointed out that it is probably only going to launch later this year (in Q4 2025 or may be in 2026). To note, the device is now said to arrive under the Galaxy Z Fold 7 series itself.
Furthermore, the batteries for the Samsung tri-fold were allegedly spotted on the BIS certification platform of India. Also, its expected specs include a dual-hinged inward-folding design, 9.96″ inner main display, 6.54″ height, and 298gm weight (same as that of the Huawei Mate XT tri-fold).
Stay tuned for more updates.
