Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 Batteries Spotted on the UL Demko Certification Platform

Followed by their earlier BIS certification, the batteries that will be used in the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones have been listed on the UL Demko certification platform. Also to add, the battery capacities have also been revealed via the certification database.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 Batteries – UL Demko Certification

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 batteries with the model numbers – ‘EB-BF966ABE’ and ‘EB-BF967ABE’ have received the UL Demko certification with the respective certificate numbers of ‘DK-163799-UL’ and ‘DK-163657-UL’. The two are listed as secondary Li-ion batteries with battery capacities of 2126 mAh and 2146 mAh, totaling to 4272 mAh.

Coming to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 batteries, ‘EB-BF766ABE’ and ‘EB-BF767ABE’ battery models have been certified by the UL Demko certification authority, with certificate numbers of ‘DK-163399-UL’ and ‘DK-163928-UL’ respectively. The revealed charging capacities of the two batteries as per the listing are 1189 mAh and 2985 mAh, totaling to 4174 mAh (rumored to pack 4300 mAh typical battery backup).

Speaking more, apart from the BIS certification of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 batteries, the two folding smartphones appeared on the 3C certification database too – revealing that both the devices will support 25W wired fast charging feature.

Last month the Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone running on the One UI 8 custom skin based on the Android 16 operating system was also spotted on the Geekbench database – with features such as Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (over-clocked version), Adreno 830 GPU, and 12GB RAM. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also tipped to arrive with a 6.85″ inner display, 4″ cover display, 50MP (OIS) + 12MP (ultrawide) dual rear cameras, and 10MP selfie camera. About the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 launch, the two are said to debut this year itself, in Q3 2025.
