OnePlus Nord 5 Smartphone Listed on the GCF Certification Platform

OnePlus today on the 27th of May 2025 will be officially unveiling its Ace 5 Extreme Series for Chinese consumers and two smartphone models are set to be debuted – Ace 5 Ultra/Extreme Edition and Ace 5 Racing Edition. For global consumers, the design of these mentioned smartphones are believed to be adopted on to the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 smartphones respectively. Both the upcoming Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 devices have been a part of multiple reports and now, followed by the Nord CE 5, the Nord 5 model has made its appearance on the GCF certification platform, revealing certain connectivity aspects.

OnePlus Nord 5 – GCF Certification

The upcoming OnePlus Nord 5 smartphone with the model number – ‘CPH2709’ has been certified by the GCF authority, and it has been listed with the GCF reference number – ‘12976’. Its GCF listing also points out that this device supports 2G/3G/4G/5G network connectivity.

Speaking more, with this same model number, the OnePlus Nord 5 smartphone was spotted earlier on the IMDA and TUV Rheinland certification platforms as well. To note, while the IMDA certification confirmed its launch in Singapore, the TUV Rheinland listing revealed key specs such as the 6650 mAh rated battery and 80W wired fast charging feature.

Regarding the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 smartphone launches, the two were recently tipped to launch in the last week of June 2025, or in July 2025. Previous updates have also suggested that the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 models of OnePlus will probably be launching on two different dates.
