OnePlus Officially Announces its Ace 5 Ultra, Ace 5 Racing Edition, and Buds 4 Product Launches in China: Debuting This Month
The Chinese consumer electronics maker – OnePlus has now officially confirmed the launch date for its Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition smartphones in its home market. Along with these two smartphone models, the Buds 4 earbuds device is also set to launch on the same day too in China.

Ace 5 Ultra, Ace 5 Racing Edition, Buds 4 – Launching on 27th May 2025 in China
Quite recently OnePlus had teased the arrival of the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition smartphones in the Chinese market, and the brand has opened the pre-reservation channel for these two devices. Now, as per what has been shared, both the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition smartphones are scheduled to debut in China on the 27th of May 2025 at 2:30 PM local time as part of the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultimate Series Product Launch Conference.
The two will be released and made available for purchase on the same day itself and notably, the series is teased to feature the industry’s first full-link chip-level hardware solution for gaming. Three-core gaming experience is offered with the combination of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip, Gaming Wi-Fi chip G1, and the Lingxi Touch chip. Also to add, the Chinese gamer – UZI (Jian Zihao) will be the OnePlus Ace Chief E-sports Officer this time.
Apart from the two mentioned Ace 5-series smartphones, the brand will also be unveiling its Buds 4 earbuds too at the upcoming launch event. It has been teased to provide flagship-level noise-cancellation and let users enjoy an original sound experience. Frosted metal appearance (Green/Black colors), flagship vocal noise reduction, dual DAC for enhanced sound quality are its further teased specifications.
The color choices for the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition smartphones have also been revealed, and both the devices will be made available in three different color choices. The Ace 5 Ultra will arrive in Fuel Titanium, Phantom Black, and Breeze Blue colors, while the Ace 5 Racing Edition will come in Wave Chasing White, Stone Black, and Wild Green Multiple colors. Moreover, the Fuel Titanium color of the Ace 5 Ultra and the Wave Chasing White color of the Ace 5 Racing Edition are two special color choices created by the brand for youngsters.
