OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 Smartphones Certified by Singapore’s IMDA Authority

The Chinese smartphone maker – OnePlus is already revealed to be working on the next generation Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 devices and we had come across a few updates concerning these upcoming devices previously. Now, both the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 devices have received the IMDA certification – confirming their launch in Singapore.

OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 – IMDA Certification

The OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 smartphone devices bear the respective model numbers of ‘CPH2709’ and ‘CPH2719’, and these have been listed on the IMDA certification platform as mobile phones with 5G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity. While no other specs or features have been revealed via the certification database, their appearance has confirmed their launch in the Singaporean market.

Speaking of earlier updates, last week the OnePlus Nord CE 5 device was certified by the GCF certification authority, whereas the OnePlus Nord 5 got the TUV Rheinland certification early this month – revealing the 6650 mAh rated battery and 80W wired charging feature. To add, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 has also received the TDRA certification as well, confirming its arrival in UAE too.

About its other expected specifications (tipped), the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 smartphones are said to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 and Dimensity 9400e chipsets respectively. The two are also expected to pack 7000 mAh batteries, feature plastic builds, and offer different designs. Their launch are also believed to take place in two different dates, while new reports have also suggested that the OnePlus Nord 5 could be arriving as the re-branded version of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition.
