OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition Certified by CMIIT; Ace 5 Ultra Also Spotted on Geekbench

Following the release of the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro models late last year in 2024, OnePlus is preparing to launch two more smartphone models under its Ace 5 series – OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition. Both these devices have now received the CMIIT certification, while the Ace 5 Ultra model has also made its appearance on the Geekbench database.
Here’s more about the update.
Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition Smartphone Models Coming?
The Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition smartphone models that OnePlus plans to unveil under its Ace 5 series are revealed to carry the respective model numbers of ‘PLC110’ and ‘PLF110′, and these have been certified by the CMIIT authority with CMIIT IDs of ’25C44PC29942’ (approval certificate number – ‘2025-4194′) and ’25C44PC20996’ (approval certificate number – ‘2025-4203’). Both these devices are pointed out to support 2G/3G/4G/5G network, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity, and their certification validity will be for five years (issue date – 17th March 2025).
About the Geekbench listing, the Ace 5 Ultra (PLC110) has attained 2779 points and 8660 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. The revealed performance specs include Android 15 operating system (probably with ColorOS 15 on top), MediaTek’s 3.73GHz-clocked octa-core processor (motherboard codenamed – ‘k6991v1_64’), 16GB RAM, and ARM Mali-G925-Immortalis MC12 GPU. Based on the provided chip details, the Ace 5 Ultra will be using the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset (as tipped earlier).
Speaking more, the Ace 5 Ultra (moniker translated from Chinese to English as ‘Supreme Edition’, but is most likely going to be called ‘Ultra’) is said to be a China-exclusive product and it has achieved a Geekbench score close to that of the 2022-released OnePlus 10 Pro flagship.
Regarding the Ace 5 Racing Edition, tipster Digital Chat Station has suggested that the device will be the first to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e chipset – an enhanced Dimensity 9300+ chip, with more performance power than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. OnePlus Fengchi game core, 6.77″ LTPS flat display, 50MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, 16MP selfie camera, 7000 mAh battery backup, and under-display optical fingerprint scanner are its other tipped specs.
Furthermore, an X tipster (@yabhishekhd) also notes that the OnePlus Nord 5 model that will be hitting global markets (including India) will possibly be the re-branded version of the Ace 5 Racing Edition.
The launch of both the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition models is believed to take place by the end of this month in May 2025, in the Chinese market. In the coming days, we may be coming across more updates concerning these upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 series smartphones, which will possibly reveal more about their key specs and features.
Stay tuned and don’t miss out on these future updates.
