Last month, it was tipped that iQOO would be introducing its flagship iQOO 16 smartphone in September alongside a new iQOO tablet. Till now, the company has not made an announcement regarding the launch, but we may hear it soon.
The tipster (Digital Chat Station) who previously shared the launch timeline for iQOO 16 has now shared some exclusive display details of this device.
iQOO 16: Display features tipped
According to the tipster, iQOO 16 will feature Samsung’s next-generation M16 luminescent material and next-generation LEADTM display technology; the same solution is used in Apple’s foldable screen.
It is hinted that the iQOO 16 will be the first Android device to ship with Samsung’s LEAD display technology.
iQOO 16, with model number V2606A, was previously spotted on the Geekbench database with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC, 16GB RAM and Android 17 OS. The same model number was also spotted on China’s 3C certification, which revealed support for 100W fast charging.
In the coming weeks, we may come across some more details related to this upcoming device, and if the tipped launch timeline is true, then iQOO may soon start teasing the launch of this device.
