Two upcoming flagship smartphones from Vivo and its sub-brand iQOO, believed to be the Vivo X500 Pro Max and iQOO 16, have now appeared on the Geekbench database. The listings have revealed their performance scores, CPU configurations, operating systems and RAM details. While the listed Vivo X500 Pro Max model belongs to its global variant, the iQOO 16 listing is for its Chinese variant.

iQOO 16 and Vivo X500 Pro Max – Geekbench Listings
Starting with the iQOO 16, a Vivo smartphone which carries the model number ‘V2606A’ has been listed on Geekbench with a single-core score of 3,434 points and a multi-core score of 9,334 points.
The device has been tested using Geekbench 6.7.1 for Android AArch64 and runs on the Android 17 operating system. Its processor has been listed as ‘QTI SM8975’, while ‘art’ is mentioned under the motherboard field.
Speaking more, the chipset features an eight-core CPU configuration divided into three clusters. The first cluster consists of three cores clocked at 3.74GHz, while the second cluster includes three cores operating at 4.03GHz. The third cluster features two cores clocked at 5.01GHz. From the source code it is revealed to have Adreno 850 GPU.
While the commercial name of the processor is not mentioned on Geekbench, the ‘SM8975’ codename and CPU configuration point towards Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro aka Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. However, since this has not been explicitly confirmed through the benchmark listing or by the brand, it is best to wait for further updates.
The listing further mentions a base frequency of 3.74GHz and the ‘walt’ governor. Moreover, the test device is pointed out to have 14.87GB of memory, suggesting that it could be equipped with 16GB of RAM.
Looking into a previous update, the same ‘V2606A’ model number had also appeared on the 3C certification database. The certification revealed that the alleged iQOO 16 would support 100W wired fast charging.
Coming to the Vivo X500 Pro Max, its global variant carrying the model number ‘V2610’ has also been listed on Geekbench. The smartphone achieved a single-core score of 2,653 points and a multi-core score of 7,516 points.
The device has also been tested using Geekbench 6.7.1 for Android AArch64 and runs on Android 17. It is powered by an engineering version of the MediaTek ‘MT6995’ chipset, while its motherboard has been listed as ‘k6995v1_64’.
Vivo X500 Pro Max – Geekbench
Its eight-core CPU configuration consists of three cores clocked at 3.10GHz, three cores operating at 4.35GHz and two cores clocked at 4.55GHz paired with Mali G2 Ultra NX MC12. Furthermore, the test device has been listed with 11.05GB of memory, suggesting a 12GB RAM configuration.
Again, the commercial name of the chipset has not been revealed through the listing. However, the ‘MT6995’ model number and its CPU configuration point towards the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro SoC. Since the listed chipset is also marked as an engineering version, its final clock speeds and performance could be different.
While the Geekbench listing does not reveal the smartphone’s marketing name, the ‘V2610’ model number had previously appeared on the Indonesian TKDN certification platform, which associated it with the global variant of the Vivo X500 Pro Max.
Both smartphones are said to be introduced first in China. However, the appearance of the Vivo X500 Pro Max’s global variant on Geekbench suggests that Vivo could also be preparing the device for markets outside China.
Since these results appear to originate from early benchmark listings, the clock speeds and performance scores may change before the smartphones enter the market. It is also not sure when Vivo and iQOO will officially launch these devices. However, with future certifications and official updates, we’ll be able to learn more about their specifications and availability details.
