HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free Windows program that can help with issues like missing or corrupt print drivers, connectivity issues, firewall issues, scan error messages, printer offline, and print jobs stuck in the print queue.

Here are the instructions on how you can run and download HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows.
Mac: Use HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix. More information can be found here.
Run HPPSdr.exe from your computer’s download directory.
Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, select your printer by clicking Start.
If your printer isn’t showing up, turn it on and try again.
If you have a connection issue, follow the tool’s instructions.
Click either Fix Printing or Fix Scanning, depending on the issue.
The test results are shown by icons.
A checkmark indicates that your printer was successful.
A wrench indicates that an issue has been identified and resolved.
exclamation A failed and skipped test is indicated by an exclamation mark.
cross An X indicates that there is a problem with the printer.
