Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 New One UI 8 Test Build Uploaded on Server; New Beta Build for Galaxy S25 Series May Also Come Out Soon

The South Korean smartphone maker – Samsung has now uploaded a new One UI 8 test build for its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 flagship smartphone on the test server. Along with this, it has also been tipped that the brand may upload a new beta build for the latest Galaxy S25 series too, soon.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 – New One UI 8 Test Build Uploaded
This update comes from the X tipster – @tarunvats33 and as per what has been shared, a new One UI 8 test build for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone has now been uploaded on the test server, changing the version from AYF1 to AYF4. The firmware build version is F966NKSU1AYF4 / F966NOKR1AYF4 / F966NKSU1AYF4. The same tipster has also mentioned that probably a new One UI 8 beta build for this year’s Galaxy S25 series smartphones could also be uploaded onto the test server soon.
Speaking more, Samsung will be officially debuting its One UI 8 custom skin based on the Android 16 operating system in Summer 2025 on its latest foldable flagship smartphones – the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Both these smartphones have been a part of multiple reports, and a lot about their key specs have been revealed.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be arriving equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip (Leading Version), while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be using the Exynos 2500 chip (as per Geekbench listing). A 4400 mAh and a 4300 mAh batteries are respectively going to be packed within the two devices (as per BIS and UL Demko listings), and they will be supporting a 25W wired fast charging feature (as per 3C listing).
Regarding the One UI 8 custom skin, its beta program is currently ongoing for the Galaxy S25 series smartphones in South Korea, Germany, UK, and US. Moreover, the Calendar app pages were recently revealed to have received certain redesigning on One UI 8 as well.
