One UI 8 Beta Program for Galaxy S25 Series – Now Live in South Korea

A few days back, the One UI 8.0 beta forum page was listed in Germany, UK, and in the US on the brand’s community website for the respective markets and later, reports also revealed that the internal testing had begun for One UI 8. The tech world was anxiously waiting for the One UI 8 public beta program announcement and Samsung has truly surprised its fans by opening it in South Korea – the brand’s home market.

It has been made available for the Galaxy S25 series users in the country, and the firmware build version of this One UI 8 beta is ‘S938NKSU3ZYER / S938NOKR3ZYER / S938NKSU3BYER’. The update will be based on the Android 16 operating system, and has a total size of 3389.29 MB. Also, the May 2025 Android security patch will also be integrated as part of the update. To note, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra – SKT, KT, and LG U+ subscribers and self-paying users are eligible to receive the update, and they can get it after signing up for it. However, since this is a beta version update, bugs and issues may be part of it.

Speaking more, just recently the brand removed the new opening animations for Quick Panel toggles, while One UI 8 internal testers had received updates for the Calculator and Clock apps. Regarding the One UI 8 release and roll-out to Galaxy phones, it is said to take place this Summer (2025).

Stay tuned for more updates.
