Back in August this year, Xiaomi had officially unveiled its HyperOS 4 custom skin in its home market of China, and the brand had also shared the beta roll-out schedule for the Chinese market. Now, Xiaomi has officially shared details regarding its HyperOS 4 global beta programme, revealing the recruitment dates for selected devices with supported Global and EEA firmware versions.
Check out more about it below.
Xiaomi HyperOS 4 – Global Beta Programme
For Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17, and the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi, recruitment for the HyperOS 4 global beta programme begins from the 10th of September 2026. Following this, users of the Xiaomi 17T Pro, Xiaomi 17T, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and the Xiaomi 15 can apply starting from the 17th of September 2026.

Regarding the registration process, eligible users can visit the Xiaomi Community app and head over to Me → Beta Testing → Recruiting Test, and complete the required questionnaire. Those selected will receive the beta update through the relevant device page. However, approved applicants may not receive it immediately, as beta updates will be released as needed and there is no fixed roll-out schedule.
To note, the devices must be running the latest available stable HyperOS 3 version, and the Xiaomi Account used for registration must match the account signed in on the device. Only supported Global and EEA firmware versions are eligible for the programme, while some beta versions may also require Xiaomi Account verification.
Stay tuned for more such updates.
