Apple’s iOS 27 will be released on the 14th of September 2026, and ahead of this, the brand has now started rolling out a new update for its iOS users with the iOS 26.6.2 version.

Regarding the iOS 26.6.2 update, it comes with a download size of 473.1MB and brings a fix for the software update download issue over mobile data. With this update, users who faced the mentioned issue will be able to download software updates over their mobile data.
Following this, the iOS 27 roll-out will be beginning on the 14th of September 2026. The eligible devices include the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone Air, iPhone 17, and the iPhone 17e.
Additionally, older devices such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, and the iPhone 15 will also be offered the iOS 27 update.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13, and the iPhone 13 mini are also eligible to receive it. Finally, the update will be offered to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11, and the iPhone SE models from the 2nd generation onwards.
