Vivo V80 Lite 5G – Google Play Console Listing
On the Google Play Console’s supported devices list, the model numbers ‘V2626’ and ‘V2655’ have been associated with the Vivo V80 Lite 5G moniker. Interestingly, both models carry ‘V2626’ as their device code, suggesting that they could be different regional variants of the same smartphone.

Notably, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G launched in Pakistan carries the model number ‘V2576’, which came as a rebranded version of the Vivo S2 which was launched in India. The same variant is also expected to launch in India. However, the upcoming Malaysian variant features a different design, which the brand has already revealed through its launch teasers and pre-order listings.

Coming to the Google Play Console listing, the device has been mentioned with the product identifier ‘V2626M_RU’ and is classified as a smartphone.
On the performance side, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G is listed with the MediaTek MT6858 chipset having one Cortex-A78 core clocked at 2.5GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores operating at 2.5GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
While the MT6858 chipset codename points towards the Dimensity 7100 SoC, the CPU configuration mentioned in the listing suggests that this could be a new chipset altogether. However, its exact marketing name has not yet been revealed.
For graphics, the chipset is paired with a dual-core ARM Mali-G610 GPU clocked at 1GHz. The listing further mentions between 7.8GB and 7.9GB of RAM, indicating that the device will offer an 8GB RAM configuration.
Coming to its display, the upcoming smartphone is revealed to feature a punch-hole display with a resolution of 1260 × 2800 pixels and a screen density of 440 DPI.
On the software side, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G will run Android 16. Moreover, it is not just the design that differentiates the Malaysian variant from its Pakistani counterpart, as the former will pack a much larger 10,000mAh battery compared to the 7,050mAh unit offered with the latter. Since its Malaysian launch is scheduled for tomorrow, more clarity regarding the differences between the two variants can be expected soon.
