Just yesterday, we spotted the Vivo S2 and Vivo V80 Lite 5G on the Google Play Console Supported Devices list, which suggested that both smartphones would arrive as rebranded versions of each other. Now, out of the two, Vivo has officially launched the Vivo S2 in the Indian market.

Vivo S2 – Specifications and Features

The Vivo S2 features a 6.83-inch 3D-curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It also comes equipped with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

Coming to its cameras, the Vivo S2 sports a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera with an f/2.4 aperture at the rear. At the front, the device features a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The rear camera supports Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, 50MP high-resolution, Panorama, Ultra-HD Document, Slow Motion, Time-Lapse, Supermoon, Professional, Food, and Dual-View Video modes. Its front camera also supports Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, and Dual-View Video modes.

The smartphone is backed by a 7,050mAh typical-capacity battery with support for 44W fast charging. On the software side, it runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Speaking more, the Vivo S2 supports two Nano-SIM cards with 5G + 5G dual-SIM dual-standby functionality. Other connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 2.0 Type-C, OTG, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou.

In addition to this, the device comes equipped with an accelerometer, ambient-light sensor, proximity sensor, electronic compass, and gyroscope.

Regarding its design, the Sapphire Blue and Regal Bronze colour variants measure 164.42 × 75.25 × 7.99mm and weigh 197g. The Silk White variant is slightly thicker at 8.10mm and weighs 199g.

Pricing and Availability

Speaking about its pricing, the Vivo S2 arrives in two memory options of 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. These variants are priced at INR 39,999 and INR 44,999, respectively and will go on sale in India on August 11th 2026, via the vivo official website, Flipkart, Amazon and partner retail stores.

The smartphone is offered in Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze, and Silk White colour choices. Although the device has been launched, it is currently available for pre-booking.

As part of the launch offers, customers can avail an instant bank discount of up to INR 4,500 using eligible HDFC Bank, SBI Card, and Axis Bank credit cards. The offer is applicable to eligible credit-card and EMI transactions.

Alternatively, buyers can opt for up to 12 months of no-cost EMI through Bajaj Finserv. All the above-mentioned offers are subject to their respective terms and conditions.
