Just a few days ago, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi officially teased the launch of the Redmi K100 smartphone in the Chinese market, while the company also revealed the design of this upcoming device.

Today, Redmi has officially confirmed the launch date of the Redmi K100 and shared some of its details. Alongside the Redmi K100, the brand will also be introducing a new audio wearable, Redmi Clip Neo.

Redmi K100 & Redmi Clip Neo: China launch date announced

The Redmi K100 smartphone will launch in China on 27th October at 19:00 (local time). Alongside this device, Redmi Clip Neo will also make its debut in the country.

The pre-orders for Redmi K100 have already started in China. The “Fluorescent Green” variant of the Redmi K100 has been officially revealed and features a light and translucent look. The Redmi Clip Neo has been revealed in the Pearl White colour option.

The Redmi K100 comes pre-installed with Xiaomi HyperOS 4, featuring precise load balancing and more accurate system resource allocation. Memory pre-loading ensures that applications receive the necessary memory in advance. First-party application optimisation results in more efficient and smoother system operation.

The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and D2 dedicated gaming graphics card, offering lower power consumption. It also boasts an upgraded 165Hz high refresh rate e-sports screen for smoother visuals and superior gaming performance.

In ‘Honor of Kings’, with its ultra-high graphics settings and dedicated graphics over-frame rate (144fps), average power consumption is reduced by 1.1W due to the dedicated gaming graphics card.

In the coming days, Redmi may share more details related to these upcoming gadgets.
