Tesla Model X landed in Nepal before India

Tesla Model X was recently imported in Nepal

US electric vehicle monster Tesla is yet to enter the Indian market however its electric vehicles have just landed in the neighboring nation of Nepal. This notwithstanding the way that Tesla, the organization, hasn’t formally made its introduction here.

Around seven Tesla electric vehicles – four Model X Long Ranges and three Model 3 Standard Ranges, have arrived at the Himalayan nation in 2020. Five of these have just been sold here, according to the authority of ARETE International, the association taking care of showcasing the electric vehicles here.

The Model X Long Range costs 3.5 crore Nepali rupee (approx ₹2.18 crore) and Model 3 costs 1.25 crore Nepali rupee (approx ₹78 lakh), both ex-showroom costs. The electric vehicles going to the nation have been imported from South China EXIM Ltd in Hong Kong, China, via car vendors Shreema Distributors and ARETE International.
