This is the company’s first made-in-India electric SUV, and the Indian market will be the first to get it. The name of this model comes from the first letter of the Greek alphabet, which signifies a new beginning for Honda’s customers.
The Honda Alpha is based on the 0 Alpha concept, which Honda showcased at the Japan Mobility Show in 2025. The technical details are still under wraps, but reports suggest that the SUV will come with two LFP battery pack options of roughly 65kWh to 75kWh, a single-motor, front-wheel-drive layout.
It is confirmed that India will serve as Honda’s global production base for this SUV. Alongside this announcement, the company has also introduced its new H mark, and the Alpha model will be the first Honda car in India to carry this redesigned emblem.

The company has already adopted the new emblem globally for its automobile business. Stay tuned for more such updates!
