ChatGPT is being used by various users for research, brainstorming or bringing ideas to life with unique creations. Well, to help users create high-quality images, videos, or designs, Adobe has introduced a new Adobe plugin in ChatGPT.

Adobe plugin in ChatGPT

This plugin brings Adobe’s pro-grade tools for creativity and productivity together, that works across ChatGPT Work and Codex. All you need to do is activate the Adobe plugin, describe what you want to create, and it automatically brings together the right Adobe tools to get you there.

The Adobe plugin in ChatGPT supports a wide range of workflows, from editing photos and creating campaign videos to designing marketing assets and generating polished PDFs. The plugin can adapt to the needs of your project, and when you want advanced editing, creative control or pixel-level precision, you can continue your work in Adobe’s apps right where you left off.

What can you create with an Adobe plugin in ChatGPT?

The Adobe plugin in ChatGPT brings together tools Adobe apps previously released for ChatGPT, along with additional tools and capabilities across Adobe Express, Photoshop, Firefly, Premiere, Acrobat, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Stock and more.

Create high-quality creative for a campaign: Upload your photos and describe the look you want. The Adobe plugin applies a consistent style across the entire set, saves the finished assets to Creative Cloud and transforms your strongest image into a product or packaging mockup.

Create eye-catching video for every social platform: Turn a long-form video into an eye-catching highlight reel, then adapt it for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and other social platforms.

Create a design and share it anywhere: Browse thousands of design templates with interactive previews, select the best one for your project, customise the copy and colours, then animate it for social media or convert it into a polished PDF that’s ready to share or print.

Transfer data into consumer-ready documents: Upload a spreadsheet or datasheet and describe the result you need. The Adobe plugin transforms your information into professionally formatted PDFs, including event badges, catalogues, infographics and other customer-ready documents.

This plugin brings the same tools and capabilities that power Adobe’s agents in Adobe apps.

Availability

The Adobe plugin in ChatGPT is available globally on the ChatGPT web and app.

How to get started?

Open ChatGPT, go to Plugins, and add the Adobe plugin

Start a new chat, then type “@Adobe” and select Adobe from the menu or use the “+” button to choose it from your installed plugins

Continue as a guest or sign in with your Adobe account for an even richer experience

To ensure the safety of users from cyber threats and harmful content online, the Indian government has strengthened the regulatory framework by amending the IT Rules 2021 to address harms arising from SGI, including deepfakes and AI-generated content.

Government amends the IT Rules 2021

According to the amendment, intermediaries are required to ensure clear labelling and traceable metadata for permissible AI-generated content, so that users can easily identify synthetically generated material and prevent deception or misuse.

It further strengthens user accountability and platform due diligence, including mandatory user awareness regarding the legal consequences of unlawful AI-generated content and stronger compliance obligations for social media intermediaries. The guidelines also explicitly cover child sexual exploitation material, non-consensual intimate imagery, impersonation and other harmful AI-generated content, requiring platforms to prevent such content and take prompt action when detected.

The government has reduced timelines for removal of unlawful information from 36 hours to 3 hours upon actual knowledge upon valid reasoned intimation from the Appropriate Government or court orders. The timeline for grievance redressal (including special categories such as nudity/impersonation, etc) is reduced from 72 hours to 36 hours, and from 24 hours to 2 hours for sensitive matters, respectively.

The intermediaries are also obligated to deploy reasonable and appropriate technical measures, including automated tools or other suitable mechanisms, to not allow any user to create, generate, modify, alter, publish, transmit, share or disseminate, as the case may be, any synthetically generated information that violates any law for the time being in force.

Apart from this, IT Rules also mandates the Significant Social Media Intermediaries (SSMIs) to take reasonable efforts to deploy appropriate technical measures, including automated tools or other suitable mechanisms, to proactively identify information that depicts any act or simulation in any form depecting rape, child sexual abuse or conduct, whether explicit or implicit, or any information which is exactly identical in content to information that has previously been removed.

It is specified that in case of failure of the intermediaries to observe the legal obligations as provided in the IT Rules, they lose their exemption from third party information provided under section 79 of the IT Act. They are liable for consequential action or prosecution as provided under any extant law.

The government has also adopted a risk-based approach to AI governance through the India AI Governance Guidelines released in November 2025 and is supporting indigenous deepfake detection technologies under the IndiaAI Mission.

A similar confusion was also recently seen surrounding the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G and its rebranded Galaxy F70 Pro 5G version. Samsung had listed the devices with LPDDR5X RAM, although Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset does not support LPDDR5X memory speeds.

The brand later clarified through the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G microsite that although LPDDR5X memory is integrated into the smartphone, it can only deliver up to LPDDR5-level performance because of the limitations of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor.

It would have been better if the internal storage type of the OnePlus N6x had been clearly disclosed through its official specifications, preventing confusion among potential buyers. Nevertheless, following the response shared by the OnePlus support team, the device is now understood to feature eMMC 5.1-based storage operating in the HS400 mode.

Stay tuned for more updates!

To enhance the WhatsApp calling experience and make it easier for users to place WhatsApp calls on any device, Meta has announced new features.

WhatsApp calling made easier with new features

Call directly from WhatsApp web

Earlier, users were required to download the app to make or receive audio and video calls on WhatsApp via their laptop. But now you can make and receive audio and video calls, both one-on-one and group, directly from WhatsApp web.

You can now make calls without leaving the browser you’re already on. You will have access to features available on your other devices, including screen sharing, reactions and a dedicated Calls tab with your full call history and favourites, all from your browser.

Previously, there was no dedicated Calls tab, nor was calling allowed via WhatsApp web, but it’s all there now.

You can either open a specific chat or a group chat, select the phone icon for calling or the camera icon for video calling on WhatsApp web, or you can also click on the dedicated Calls tab in the sidebar to view your chat history or pick a contact to call. Also, to make a call via WhatsApp web, you need to give your browser access to your device’s microphone and camera.

Transfer call between devices

You can now move an active group call from one device to another without hanging up. You can seamlessly transfer a call from your mobile or tablet to WhatsApp web or desktop, or vice versa.

To transfer an active call, open WhatsApp on your second device and accept or move the ongoing call prompt.

A Waiting Room for Group Call

A new Waiting Room feature is introduced. When you create a WhatsApp call link with “Request approval to join” enabled, participants will enter a waiting room until you’re ready to let them in.

This is similar to what we have seen in Zoom calls.

Instant HD video

To improve the video call experience, there is a QuickHD feature that lets you enjoy high-definition video immediately in the very first few seconds of the call.

Drown out the Noise

Meta has launched noise suspension to remove the background noise around users so their voice comes through clearly to the person they are calling, even in loud and busy environments.

The noise suspension feature is on by default for audio and video calls, but in case you want to turn it off:

Start a voice/video call

Tap the three-dot icon on the call screen interface

Find the noise cancellation toggle in the menu and switch it off.

When I checked, I could see the Noise cancellation toggle on the WhatsApp app, but it was not visible on the web.

Do note that these features are being rolled out gradually and will be available to everyone soon. So if you do not see any of the above features on WhatsApp, wait for it to be rolled out on your device or in your region.

Samsung has just launched its latest Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, and it seems that Honor did not want to miss the opportunity to take a shot at its latest competitor. The Chinese smartphone maker has shared a post through its UK social media account, comparing the battery capacity and charging speed of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra with its latest Honor Magic V6 and last year’s Honor Magic V5.

Read more about it below.

Honor Compares Magic V6 Battery and Charging Speed With Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra

While Honor did not explicitly mention the name of Samsung’s foldable smartphone in its post, the mentioned 5,000mAh battery capacity and 45W wired charging specifications match those of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Therefore, the comparison appears to be aimed at Samsung’s latest premium foldable device.

In the post, Honor highlights that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra comes equipped with a 5,000mAh, whereas the Honor Magic V5, which was launched in 2025, had already been offering a larger 5,820mAh battery. The latest Honor Magic V6 takes this further with an even bigger 6,660mAh next-generation silicon-carbon battery.

The Magic V6’s battery features 25% silicon content and offers an energy density of up to 921Wh/L, allowing the brand to fit a larger-capacity battery inside its slim foldable body. Honor claims that the Magic V6 can offer up to 24 hours of battery life even when its large inner display is used exclusively. On the other hand, Samsung claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra can offer up to 27 hours of video playback. However, since these claims are based on different testing and usage conditions, they cannot be compared directly.

Honor Magic V6 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra – CHarging Comparison

Not only this, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra supports 45W wired fast charging, whereas the Honor Magic V6 offers faster 80W wired charging support. As per Honor’s comparison, the Magic V6 can charge from 0 to 72% in just 30 minutes. In comparison, the image shared for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra shows it reaching 67% within the same time.

This is clearly Honor’s way of highlighting the battery and charging advantages of its latest foldable, but actual battery performance will depend on real-world usage.

Stay tuned for more updates!

In related news, OnePlus has confirmed that eligible existing devices across global markets will be offered the option to voluntarily move from OxygenOS to ColorOS following the official release of ColorOS 17.

A new report has now claimed that a few Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra users are experiencing a reddish tint or mark in the middle portion of their smartphone’s display. The issue has also become a topic of discussion across Samsung’s South Korean community, however, it is not yet clear whether it is a widespread hardware defect or a phenomenon limited to certain units.

Read more about the update below.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Users Report Red Tint in the Middle of the Display

A Reddit user has shared images of Galaxy S26 Ultra units that appear to show a rectangular reddish tint in the middle portion of the display. As per the user, the issue has become a topic of discussion within the South Korean Samsung Galaxy community and has reportedly been observed on both user-owned devices and showroom display units.

Speaking more, the user points out that the issue is currently being reported only on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the vanilla Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus models do not appear to show a similar reddish mark. A South Korean report also noted that the phenomenon was visible on Galaxy S26 Ultra display units, whereas the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus units placed alongside them did not show the same issue.

Galaxy S26 Ultra Red Tint

Another detail highlighted through the South Korean Galaxy community is that the reddish tint reportedly does not appear immediately after unboxing the device. Instead, users claim that it begins appearing after around two to three months of usage, although this has not yet been officially confirmed by Samsung.

Also to add, another Reddit user claimed that their Galaxy S26 Ultra unit also has a similar tint, however, it is almost invisible during normal usage. A few users have further pointed out that the reddish mark becomes more noticeable when the smartphone’s Privacy Display feature is enabled.

At this time, no definitive explanation concerning the cause of the issue is available. Some users and industry sources believe that it could be associated with the new Privacy Display technology used on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Since the feature works by changing how light is emitted and viewed from different angles, it is being speculated that the modified display structure could be affecting screen uniformity under certain conditions. However, OLED burn-in and individual panel-related issues are also being considered as possibilities.

Galaxy S26 Ultra Red Tint Issue

Regarding Samsung’s response, the company has confirmed to the South Korean publication Newsway that it is internally examining the matter to identify its exact cause and the conditions under which the phenomenon appears. At this time, Samsung has not confirmed whether the reported tint is related to a hardware defect, the Privacy Display technology, or a limited number of affected units.

We expect Samsung to reveal more details after completing its investigation. However, no repair or replacement programme has been announced for the affected users as of now.

Stay tuned for more updates!

The social media platform Telegram seems to be under regular scrutiny in India. Last month, Telegram was banned in India from 16th June to 22nd June ahead of NEET UG 2026 re-exam (held on 21st June), and its message-editing feature was disabled till 30th June on the recommendations of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

This was done to prevent paper leaks, cheating rackets and fabrication of fake paper leaks proofs. After the ban was removed, it was reported that the government has sent notice to WhatsApp, Telegram and Signal over their respective username feature at the beginning of this month.

And now, it is reported that Telegram has received a second notice from the Indian government. According to reports, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) has today issued a notice to Telegram over the widespread circulation of pirated films and OTT content on its platform.

Previously, the government took action against more than 3,000 Telegram channels for carrying pirated content and warned that the availability of such content could invite further examination.

It is reported that in the latest notice the government has asked Telegram to move beyond individual takedowns and adopt a platform-level approach to tackling piracy. Telegram is directed to act against repeat infringers, including channels, groups, bots, accounts, administrators and associated entities.

The platform has also been asked to submit an Action Taken Report (ATR) within 15 days. It is said that the move is aimed at protecting India’s creator economy, film industry, broadcasters, OTT platforms, producers and distributors.

Telegram is also reminded that as an intermediary, it is required to observe due diligence under the IT Act 2000 and the IT Rules 2021.

A new app called BAT-BMS is now making rounds on social media platforms, as it is being allegedly used to remotely disable the battery output of e-rickshaws. Viral videos showing users misusing the app for such acts have also raised safety concerns online.

Read more about the update below.

BAT-BMS App – Viral E-Rickshaw Battery Disabling Concern

A mobile application called BAT-BMS has now gone viral on social media platforms after a few videos surfaced online showing people allegedly using the app to remotely disable the battery output of nearby e-rickshaws via Bluetooth. In some of the videos that are being shared online, users can be seen using the app as part of a prank, including on e-rickshaw drivers while they are operating their vehicles.

Upon looking into it, we found that the BAT-BMS app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The developer name mentioned for the app is SHENZHEN GRENERGY TECHNOLOGY CO.LTD. Regarding its actual purpose, the app appears to be meant for Smart Bluetooth lithium batteries, and it lets users wirelessly connect to a supported battery to check details like SOC, voltage, charge/discharge current, cycle life, cell voltage, and temperature. The app listing also mentions Bluetooth 5.0/BLE support and an operating range of up to about 15 meters.

This is what has now become a concern, as some users reportedly found this feature and started uploading reels of themselves using it on e-rickshaws, claiming it to be a prank.

Anyone want to know how it works 👇 https://t.co/W2xsbonLjL pic.twitter.com/p2iD0gJ2Qf

It is important to note that such an action may only work with supported Bluetooth-enabled battery management systems, and not necessarily with all e-rickshaws. However, even then, its misuse can create serious issues for e-rickshaw drivers, especially those who depend on these vehicles for their daily earnings. If used while the vehicle is running, such acts may also raise safety concerns for both the driver and passengers.

This App should be removed from play store immediately.

I know some E rickshaw drivers are completely nonsense but some are doing hard work. pic.twitter.com/zs5SSNwtbO https://t.co/fY7HmUgxOi

Following the viral videos, many users have started calling for action against the app, with some even demanding its removal from app stores or a complete ban. As of now, no official statement regarding the matter appears to have been shared by the concerned authorities or the app developer.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Nothing, the London-based consumer technology brand, seems to have had its Indian Instagram account updated with an image of an RCB fan, and the same person has also appeared on the brand’s Instagram profile and story section. Following this, many users have started sharing different speculations regarding the recent activity.

Read more about it below.

Nothing India Instagram Account Shows RCB Fan Image, Brand Says It Is Looking Into the Situation

For those who don’t know, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, also known as RCB and formerly called Royal Challengers Bangalore, is a professional Twenty20 cricket team based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and it competes in the Indian Premier League. Nothing is also associated with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and the brand has been announced as RCB’s title sponsor for the 2026 season.

Speaking more, some users have suggested that Nothing India’s Instagram account may have been hacked by someone who is possibly an RCB fan. However, a few others are also claiming that this could be a marketing gimmick, mainly because of Nothing’s existing association with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. As of now, there is no proper confirmation available regarding what exactly has happened.

The person whose image appears to have been added to Nothing India’s Instagram profile and story section is Sugumar, who is known as a sports enthusiast and identifies himself as a “Superfan” of Virat Kohli, the Indian Cricket Team, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. His appearance on the brand’s Instagram profile has further raised questions among users, with many wondering whether this is an unauthorized activity or a planned campaign.

Adding to this, the bio section of the Nothing India Instagram account also reportedly states “New Account Owner”, further indicating that the recent activity may not have been done by the brand itself. However, since Nothing India has not yet shared a detailed clarification regarding the matter, it would be better to wait for more official information from the brand.

Nothing India, from its X handle, has also shared that it is aware of the recent activity on its Instagram account and is currently looking into the situation. The brand further added, “This is not us”, hinting that its Instagram account may have been compromised. However, since there is no further official information available at the moment apart from Nothing India’s statement on X, users should wait for more details.

As mentioned, Nothing has not yet officially revealed the exact reason behind this Instagram activity. More updates regarding the matter are expected to be shared soon by the brand.
