Attention OnePlus users! Every OnePlus device running the August security patch can now opt for OnePlus Stock Dialer support; Here’s how you can do it

If you are an old OnePlus user, then you might be aware that the previous OnePlus devices came with the OnePlus Stock Dialer app. But now the devices are released with the Google Dialer as the default calling app.

Well, if you want to bring back the OnePlus Stock Dialer app, then this article might be of your interest.

A user on X has shared that now every OnePlus device that is running the August Security patch can receive OnePlus Stock Dialer support. But there’s a catch!

Installation of the OnePlus app is not possible via third-party APKs, but there is a specific dialer code. Interested users need to enter *#*#677776#*#* in their Google dialer. Instead of placing a call, the device will show a prompt to restart the device to install “OnePlus Phone.”

Accept the prompt and restart the phone. You will find the OnePlus Phone app on the home screen, after which you can set it as the default dialer.

The app will bring back the OnePlus-style calling interface with features like AI Summary, AI Translate and full-screen contact images.

Do note that to install the OnePlus native phone app, your device needs to run on OxygenOS 16 and the August security patch.
