The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G smartphone has now officially made its debut in the Indian market. Looking at its specifications, the device arrives as a rebranded version of the already available Galaxy M47 5G, which itself shares its specifications with the Galaxy A27 5G.

As part of the launch offer, the base 6GB/128GB variant will be available at an effective price of INR 23,999, making it INR 2,000 cheaper than its listed price. The availability of this offer will be subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Speaking about its availability, the open sale of the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will begin on the 8th of August 2026 through Flipkart, Samsung India online store and other major retailers. Alpha Black and Aura Green are the two colour choices offered for the device.
Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G – Specifications and Features
As per the official product page, the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G features a 6.7″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display screen supporting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection is also offered, with Samsung claiming four times improved scratch resistance and protection against falls from a height of up to two metres.
Under the hood, the smartphone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. However, Samsung recently clarified that although LPDDR5X memory is integrated into the device, it will operate at LPDDR5-level performance when paired with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.
Speaking about its cameras, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G sports a triple rear camera system comprising a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, a 12MP front-facing camera with HDR support is equipped.
The camera system supports video recording at up to 4K resolution, along with AI-powered photography and editing features such as Object Eraser, My Filter, and AI Edits.
Coming to its battery, the smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports up to 45W wired fast charging. It must be noted that the 45W charging adapter will be sold separately.
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G runs on Samsung’s One UI 8.5 user interface based on the Android 16 operating system. Samsung has promised six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the device.
Other software features include the Now Bar, live notifications, home-screen personalisation, Circle to Search, Google Gemini, Direct Voicemail, AI voice transcription, improved calling features, and integration with the wider Galaxy ecosystem.
Samsung Knox protection is also present, along with privacy features such as Private Album and alerts for malicious websites. The smartphone further supports Tap & Pay transactions using fingerprint authentication.
