After being listed via Amazon India, Samsung’s latest Galaxy M-series smartphone has officially been unveiled in the Indian market. The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G has been brought out as the new smartphone model under the series and additionally, rumors are also high that the brand could soon be launching the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G device as well.

Samsung Galaxy M47 5G
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 4nm 5G chip, integrated with the Adreno 710 GPU and is offered with 6GB/8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
For its display, the device features a 6.7″ FHD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED screen with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 800 nits HBM brightness, and 1400 nits peak brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection is also given on the device. Two color variants are available: Rogue Red and Blaze Blue.
Coming to its durability, the Galaxy M47 5G comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, along with a water and dust resistant build. The brand also mentions that the device offers 4X scratch resistance and 2.0m fall endurance, making it more durable for outdoor usage as well.
On the camera side, it sports a 50MP OIS-supported primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture at the rear. An LED flash is also present. For selfies, a 12MP front-facing cam with f/2.2 aperture is added. The device also supports 4K video recording, letting users capture videos in full clarity.
Regarding its battery, the Galaxy M47 5G packs a 6000 mAh large battery backup, as well as a 45W wired fast charging feature. Bypass charging support is also an added key spec, which will be useful while gaming as it helps reduce strain on the battery and keeps the device cooler during longer gaming sessions.
To note, it runs on the Android 16-based One UI 8.5 custom skin. Samsung is also offering 6 generations of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates for the device.
Other notable features include AI photo editing tools such as Object Eraser, Edit Suggestion, and My Filter. Furthermore, Circle to Search with Google and Google Gemini support are also added to the smartphone.
Speaking about its other key specs, it includes hybrid dual SIM support, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers, 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac with 2.4GHz and 5GHz support, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC, Knox security, Private Album, Malicious Web Access Alert, Samsung Wallet with Tap & Pay, Now Bar, Live Notification, Home Screen Personalization, Quick Share, and Voice Focus.
Coming to the calling features, the Galaxy M47 5G offers on-device voicemail and AI voice transcription, which can convert recorded calls into editable text summaries.

With the coupon offer, the effective price is said to start at INR 22,999. To note, the exact offer details have not been revealed by the brand yet.
