Xiaomi 17, Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra Listed on Singapore’s IMDA Certification; NFC Support Confirmed
The Xiaomi 17 series has already been launched in the Chinese market and is rumoured to make its global debut soon, including India. Tagging along are the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, which are also expected to launch globally in the near future. Adding to their growing list of certifications, the Xiaomi 17 (global variant), Poco F8 Pro, and Poco F8 Ultra have now been spotted on the IMDA certification website.
Xiaomi 17 and Poco F8 Pro spotted on IMDA
The IMDA certification sometimes doesn’t reveal the monikers of the devices but does list their model numbers. According to the listing, the model number “25113PN0EG” shows the brand name as Xiaomi and describes it as a 5G Mobile Phone with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. This confirms that the device will come with NFC support.
As mentioned earlier, the certification doesn’t explicitly reveal the model name, but as we compare this model number with the Chinese variant of the Xiaomi 17, the only difference is the last character, “C”(China) and “G” (Global) in this one. This clearly indicates that this device is the global variant of the Xiaomi 17.

Next, the model number “2510DPC44G” is listed under the brand name Poco. Again, the certification doesn’t mention the device’s moniker, but this same model number was previously spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification, which confirmed its name as Poco F8 Pro. It is expected to launch as a rebranded Redmi K90, which was recently released in China. This means it will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
Lastly, the model number “25102PCBEG” appears in the listing with the brand name Poco. This model number was also seen earlier on the NBTC certification, which revealed its moniker to be the Poco F8 Ultra. The device is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Pro Max, suggesting it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
Additionally, Poco Hong Kong recently shared a teaser for its upcoming smartphone launch. The teaser image revealed a rear camera module design similar to that of the Redmi K90 series in China, hinting that the teased devices could be the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra.
According to the IMDA certification, both the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra are described as 5G Mobile Phones with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC, confirming NFC support for both devices. In addition, both smartphones are likely to feature “Sound by Bose” tuned speakers.
As these smartphones have now started appearing on multiple certification platforms, an official global launch announcement may not be too far away.
