Redmi K90 Series Officially Debuts in China, Featuring Snapdragon 8 Elite/Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chip and Sound by Bose Co-Tuned Speakers: Sale Now Live

At its launch event held yesterday on the 23rd of October 2025 in China, the Redmi K90 series consisting of the Redmi K90 and the Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphones were officially unveiled. Additionally, a Champion Edition was also brought out for the Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphone. Also, the sale of both the latest smartphone devices is currently live in the Chinese market.

Redmi K90

The Redmi K90 smartphone has been introduced with the tagline – ‘More Beautiful, Stronger, and Unlimited’, and it has been made using the integrated cold carving process (with 41 processes, 12 tools, and CNC engraving), featuring a 6.59″ golden size display (with 94% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio and visually equilateral design), and equipped with four slightly curved wrapping middle frame (with symmetrical antenna bands in the same body color). In terms of its display, the device brings major upgrades thanks to the super pixel screen with Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Protection 3.0 and M10 luminescent material.

On the camera side too, big upgrades are brought as per what the brand claims. The Light Hunter 800 flagship large bottom main camera with 1/1.55″ camera size, 2.0μm fusion pixels, 13.2EV ultra dynamic range, and OIS, along with the 2.5x golden telephoto portrait camera (60mm) with f/2.2 aperture, 2.5x optical zoom, and 5x lossless zoom are notable aspects. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor coupled with Level 3 Ice-Sealed Circulation Pump and 40% increased maximum thermal conductivity, 7100 mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging and 100W PPS universal charging protocol, and super linear symmetrical dual speakers jointly tuned by Sound by Bose are its other key specs.

Coming to the pricing details, the 12GB/256GB, 16GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB storage options are available at respective price points of CNY 2599, CNY 2899, CNY 3199, CNY 3499, and CNY 3999. Four color variants are also available for the device, and customers can get it in White, Black, Light Purple, and Aqua Blue colors. This latest smartphone is now on sale and as part of the first sale, customers can enjoy 2-year screen warranty, 12-year battery cover warranty, and 365-day no repair but replacement policy.

Redmi K90 Pro Max

About the Redmi K90 Pro Max, it promises a flagship dual-core performance with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip (3nm) and AI independent graphics chip D2. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 support and the 3D Ice Cycle Refrigeration Pump (with 6700mm² heat dissipation area) are further performance-related specs.

For its display, it has a 6.9″ super sunlight screen with 3500 nits multi-scene peak brightness, Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Protection 3.0 (supporting 1 nit ultra-low brightness), M10 luminescent material (offering 11.4% increased luminous efficiency), and super pixel technology (bringing full RGB lossless arrangement). At its rear, the device sports a 1/1.31″ large Light Hunter 950 main camera, with next generation 1G+6P lens, 13.5EV high dynamic range, and anti-glare. A 5x periscope telephoto camera (with OIS and 10x lossless zoom) and 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens are also there at the rear.

Regarding its design, the Redmi K90 Pro Max is said to be the most textured K-series smartphone, with ultra-narrow quadrilateral vision, Crater Deco four-curved wrapped metal middle frame, technical denim new materials, third generation nano-leather technology, two-color warp and weft technology, and resistance to dirt and yellowing.

The sale of the Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphone is also now live in China, and during the first sale customers can enjoy 2-year screen warranty, 2-year battery warranty, and 365-day no repair but replacement policy. The 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and the 16GB/1TB storage variants are respectively priced at CNY 3999, CNY 4499, CNY 4799, and CNY 5299. Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition (Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse)

Finally, speaking of the Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition (Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse) smartphone model, only 16GB/1TB storage variant will be available and it carries a price tag of CNY 5499. Customized charger, data cable, shield SIM card pin, protective case, and instructional manual are provided within its packaging box. While the specs remain similar to the Redmi K90 Pro Max standard edition, it features a Lamborghini SC63 racing prototype champion design inspiration, with track competitive aesthetics (Y-shaped waistline, printed painted body with micro-three-dimensional texture, camera module resembling swooping front face) and exclusive customized theme (with exclusive wallpaper, app icons, boot animation, and charging animation).
