Poco F8 Pro (2510DPC44G) spotted on NBTC certification, expected to launch globally as a rebranded Redmi K90

The Poco F8 series appears to be gearing up for its official debut soon, as the upcoming Poco F8 Pro has now been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification website, suggesting that a global launch may not be far away.

Here is more to it.

According to the NBTC listing, the Poco F8 Pro carries the model number “2510DPC44G” with the certification number “B38764-25.” The listing classifies the device under the Telecommunication category as a Cellular Mobile (GSM/WCDMA/LTE/NR) device.

Interestingly, the model number shows strong similarities to the Redmi K90 (2510DRK44C), which was recently launched in China. The only differences are the replacement of “RK” with “PC”, and the regional suffix changing from “C” (China) to “G” (Global).

This suggests that the Poco F8 Pro could debut globally as a rebranded version of the Redmi K90.

Earlier, tipster Abhishek Yadav had claimed that the Redmi K90 would be launched globally under the Poco F8 moniker. However, the new certification listing for the Poco F8 Pro seems to contradict that claim, suggesting instead that the “Pro” variant will be the rebranded model.

Based on the Redmi K90, the Poco F8 Pro is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The higher-end Poco F8 Ultra, which is rumoured to be a rebrand of the Redmi K90 Pro Max, may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.

The Poco F8 Pro is also likely to feature “Sound by Bose” tuned speakers, but without the speaker grille next to the camera module, similar to the design seen on the Redmi K90.
