Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Live Images Revealing Design Specs Leaked Online: No Camera Rings This Time?

While we are less than a week away from Samsung’s much awaited Galaxy Unpacked event (~ second one of 2025), the live images of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 horizontally-folding or book-like flagship smartphone has been leaked online. Via these leaked live images, the design aspects of the next-gen foldable have been revealed.
Here’s more about it.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 – Leaked Live Images
As per the leaked live images, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone is revealed to look more or less similar to its predecessor in terms of design, however with certain refinements. Notably, the camera rings that were present on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 are absent on the successor, and the pill-shaped camera module appears a little more bigger and projected. Three individual circular units housing camera sensors are housed within the camera module, while the LED flashlight is positioned outside – at the right side of the camera module. Also, the placement of the flash is a little more lower than on the previous Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Moreover, the card tray seems to be at the top instead of being on the side, and at the left and right sides of it, a microphone hole and speaker unit can also be spotted. This suggests that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 might also be offering a dual speaker system and multiple microphones. To note, the device on the leaked live images is the Blue color variant, and it also features antenna lines along the sides.
Looking at previous updates, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 has already made it to the NBTC, Geekbench, and 3C databases. Its batteries were also spotted on the BIS and UL Demko certification platforms as well. Speaking more, it is expected to pack a 4400 mAh battery supporting 25W wired fast charging, along with Qi 2 and eSIM support. The upcoming device is also tipped to arrive as the thinnest folding device too (folded – 8.9mm, unfolded – 3.9mm). [Do note that Honor’s Magic V5 has already debuted in China with a folded thickness and unfolded thickness of as low as 8.8mm and 4.1mm.]
About its launch, it is expected to take place on the 9th of July 2025 at Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event. Also, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE/Special Edition, and Galaxy Watch 8 series devices are also expected to be unveiled at the same event next week.
Stay tuned for more updates.
