The Redmi Note 17 series recently broke its cover in the global markets following its earlier launch in China. Well, the vanilla Redmi Note 17 5G has already been launched in India, and now the brand has also teased the arrival of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G smartphone in the country.
Along with this news, the Redmi 17 5G is set to launch in India on September 3rd, 2026, and a tipster has now revealed its alleged Indian pricing. The same tipster has also shared the expected pricing of the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G – India Launch Teased
A new microsite for the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G smartphone has now gone live on Amazon India, confirming that the device will soon break its cover in the Indian market.
The teaser uses the phrase ‘Redmi Note Goes Max’ and carries the tagline ‘Let Nothing Hold You Back’. Xiaomi has also described the upcoming device as its ‘most unstoppable Note yet’.
However, the microsite currently only displays a ‘Coming Soon’ message, and the official launch date has not yet been revealed.
Speaking of its specs, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G was already launched in the global markets alongside the other Redmi Note 17 series smartphones on August 27th, 2026. The same device is expected to arrive in India with a similar specification sheet.
Redmi 17 5G – Tipped India Pricing
Coming to the Redmi 17 5G, tipster Abhishek Yadav, citing his own sources, claims that the upcoming smartphone will be offered in two memory configurations in India.
The 6GB/128GB variant is said to be priced at INR 25,000, whereas the 8GB/128GB variant could carry a price tag of INR 28,000.
Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G – Tipped India Pricing
Another detail shared by the tipster suggests that the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G will also be launching in the Indian market soon. As per his claim, the device could arrive in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB memory configurations, which could be priced at INR 39,000 and INR 42,000 respectively.
Since the pricing details of both smartphones have not yet been officially confirmed, it would be better to take this information with a pinch of salt.
