OPPO Reno 16 (CPH2865) – Geekbench Listing
On the Geekbench database, the model number – ‘CPH2865’ has appeared with OPPO branding. While the moniker is not mentioned in the listing, earlier global regulatory database appearances have pointed out that this model number belongs to the OPPO Reno 16’s global variant. Via the Geekbench listing, it is revealed that the device was running on the Android 16 operating system with the software version – ‘CPH2865_16.0.204(EX01)’, and it had 12GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the source code mentions the Adreno 722 GPU and shows that at the time of testing, the device had an octa-core processor with one primary core clocked at 2.80GHz, four performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz, and three efficiency cores clocked at 1.84GHz. The CPU codename has also been listed as ‘QTI SM7750’, which points out that the smartphone could be using the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. Speaking about its scores, the global variant managed to achieve 1240 points in the single-core test and 3994 points in the multi-core test.
Now here is the difference: the Chinese variant of the Reno 16 came with the Dimensity 8550 processor, and with this new listing appearance, it seems that OPPO has chosen the Snapdragon over MediaTek for its global variant. Moreover, a recent tip has suggested that a total of four smartphone models will be introduced in the Reno 16 series in the Indian market, including the OPPO Reno 16, OPPO Reno 16 Pro, OPPO Reno 16 Pro Mini, and OPPO Reno 16c.
Previously, the vanilla Reno 16 had also appeared on India’s BIS, GCF, UAE’s TDRA, TUV, and NBD Import Export databases, which revealed some key features as well. As per GCF, connectivity options such as GSM 850/900/1800/1900 bands, WCDMA I/II/V/VIII bands, LTE FDD bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/26/28/32, LTE TDD bands 38/39/40/41/42/43/48, and 5G NR bands n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n8/n12/n20/n26/n28/n38/n40/n41/n48/n66/n77/n78/n83 were revealed. EDGE Class 33, HSDPA Category 24, and EUL Category 6 were also mentioned.
While on the TUV and NBD databases, 80W fast wired charging support, a 6.57″ display, and a 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage option were also pointed out. Looking at the display specs, it does not match with the one launched in China, so it could be possible that this may not come as a direct rebrand, but rather with a few new configurations.
Stay tuned for more updates.
