Vivo X500 series China launch is just a few days apart as it will break cover on 21st September 2026, and the brand has already shared quite a few of the series’ specs. Now, ahead of the launch, the alleged vanilla Vivo X500 has appeared on the Geekbench database, revealing a few of its key performance specifications.

Alleged Vivo X500 – Geekbench Listing
As per the listing, the Vivo smartphone carries the V2609A model number and runs on Android 17 with the PD2609B_A_17.0.12.14.W10 software build.
The smartphone is listed with the MediaTek MT6993 processor identifier, and while this identifier is associated with the Dimensity 9500 SoC, the same identifier is also listed for the recently unveiled Dimensity 9600M on Wikipedia, making it difficult to determine the exact chipset through the Geekbench listing alone. Speaking about the performance scores, it managed to get a single-core score of 2,694 and a multi-core score of 7,770 on Geekbench 6.7.1.
Its octa-core CPU configuration consists of four cores clocked at 2.70GHz, three cores operating at 3.50GHz, and one prime core clocked at 4.21GHz. Via the source code, it is revealed that the device was equipped with a Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU at the time of testing.
The listing further reveals 11.08GB of RAM, suggesting that the tested device features a 12GB RAM configuration.
While the Geekbench only mentions the model number, previous leaks and rumours have associated the V2609A model number with the vanilla Vivo X500.
Adding to this, the same model number had earlier appeared on China’s 3C certification database, revealing support for 90W fast wired charging, which is the same as the 3C listing of the X500 Pro Max.
With only a few days remaining until the launch, Vivo is expected to officially reveal the complete specifications of the device soon.
