Vivo X500 series confirmed to launch in China on 21st September; New details teased again

In recent days, a lot of details related to the Vivo X500 series models have been shared online, and it was expected that the brand would soon announce the launch date of this smartphone series as well.

The company has finally announced the Chinese launch date of the Vivo X500 series and has also shared some of its key details.

The Vivo X500 series will be officially unveiled in China on 21^st September.

The company has also revealed the first look of the Vivo X500 Pro Max that appears to feature a large circular deco and an action button. It will be accompanied by a 400mm Zeiss Teleconverter G2 Ultra, a magnetic case and magnetic accessories.

With the Vivo X500 series, Vivo debuts 4K Dolby Portrait Video. Leveraging the upgraded NPU computing power of the new Dimensity 2nm chip, the Vivo X500 series features a newly upgraded AI video highlighting system. The newly upgraded 4K native cinematic Live mode supports numerous cinematic colours, while Vivo also debuts 8K cinematic Live Mode.

The Vivo X500 series features an intelligent automatic image window that links lens information to AI. It comes with Vivo’s first album-based photo editing feature. Relying on a flagship platform deeply integrated with MediaTek, the accuracy of intent analysis commands reaches 99.5% and power consumption is significantly reduced by 50%.

Leveraging the new 2nm Dimensity chip, Vivo exclusively debuts professional Log video hardware, supporting 4K 120fps 10-bit log recording and output, with simultaneous optimisation of power consumption and heat dissipation. The Vivo X500 Pro series debuts 4K 240fps cinematic-grade slow motion, combined with AI motion trajectory prediction, achieving 4K 960fps ultimate slow motion. Also, combining self-developed technology with NPU high computing power, it supports up to 4K 120fps tracking focus.

Vivo Blueprint Colour system boasts dual colour themes, cinematic colours, digital national treasure project, upgraded Portrait photography and enhancement of GTR technology. The Vivo X500 series arrives with an upgraded AI photography assistant, accurately recognising 5000 scene tags, a multi-zone laser autofocus system, 10-bit 4:2:2 APV video encoding, professional Log Video hardware, light-sensitive skin tone, track colour debugging, C bit Lock, Film workshop, on-device multimodal video understanding and Photo Album inspiration retouching.

The Vivo X500 series arrives with three new cinematic video colour styles: Sunlight Film, Cool Silver Halide and Sunny Day. With OriginOS 7 integration, the upcoming series will help users in customizing exclusive travel guide, taking direct AI screenshot and in photo album easy cleanup.
