Follow These Steps To Turn Off Package Tracking In Google Chrome For iOS

Google seems to have brought a new feature for the iOS users in Chrome Application. Being a feature it should have been praised but those who have come across it are finding ways to disable this unwanted feature. This is about Package Tracking in Google Chrome for iOS users. It has been found by a few iOS users in the Chrome browser.

One of the Google Chrome community members wrote that when he was browsing eBay, on each listing a new pop-up window appeared on the screen saying a new package was being tracked. And in a new Google search tab, an embedded window opened up showing all the packages. Surprisingly he didn’t order them but as per the user, the feature auto-scanned the listing on site and considered them as ordered packages. Those who are facing the same issue can follow the steps mentioned below to turn this feature off

Steps to follow

Open Chrome browser

 

Now click on the Three Dots at the bottom right-hand corner

 

A new window will appear, select settings

In your settings menu, click on Google Services

You will find “Package tracking” that you need to tap on.

After the above step, you will find three options “Allow track all detected packages”, “Ask me every time” and Never auto-detect packages.

You need to tap on “Never auto-detect packages”.
