Elon Musk criticises Anti- environment move by State of California

Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk in a tweet on January 12 criticised State of California’s solar tax move. Musk tweeted “Bizarre anti – environment move by the government of California”.

At the same time, the official Twitter handle of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting was hacked today. The hackers also retweeted Musk’s tweet criticising California’s government for its solar tax move. It also tweeted “great job” from the Ministry’s official handle. However, the account was restored soon and the tweet was deleted.

This incident happened at the time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s twitter account was hacked for short period earlier on December 12,2021. A fake tweet stating India has adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender was made through the hacked account .However, the account was restored immediately.

On January 3 this year ,Twitter handles of Indian Council of World’s Affairs and Indian Medical Association (IMA)  had also been hacked.
