Day by day, more and more updates concerning Samsung’s next Android 16 based One UI 8 custom skin are arriving and now, it has been revealed that a new animated clock style will also be added onto it.

One UI 8 to Feature a New Animated Clock Style
As per the update shared via the X tipster – @tarunvats33, it has been revealed that Samsung plans to add a new animated clock style onto its latest and upcoming One UI 8 custom skin. From the screenshot shared, it can be understood that this animated clock style is a segmented digital clock with the day, date, and month at the bottom. The digital clock appears to have a modern but minimalist look.
Speaking of other past updates, apart from the new animated clock style, a new animation engine is also revealed to be equipped within the custom skin and thereby offer improved and seamless performance while spamming between apps or when multitasking. After spotting the first One UI 8 internal test build for the Galaxy S25 series, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy S25 were spotted on the Geekbench database with the One UI 8 custom skin onboard. To add, the new Galaxy S25 Geekbench scores are higher than before, and this points out that Samsung has made the necessary optimizations to deliver an improved and faster user experience.
Regarding the One UI 7 update roll-out, recently the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone received the official update in the Indian and European markets, whereas European users of the Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets also got it around the same time itself.
