Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Smartphone With Android 16 Based One UI 8 New Higher Geekbench Scores Revealed

A little over a month back, the Samsung Galaxy S25 flagship smartphone was spotted on the Geekbench database with the Android 16 based One UI 8 custom skin onboard. Now, it has again been spotted on the benchmark platform, but with higher performance scores.

Galaxy S25 With Android 16 Based One UI 8 – New Geekbench Listing

As per the new Geekbench listing, the Galaxy S25 smartphone (model number – ‘SM-S931B) running on the Android 16 based One UI 8 custom skin has now attained 3194 points and 10068 points higher scores respectively on the single-core and multi-core performance tests. [Previously, the single-core and multi-core test scores were 3135 points and 9938 points.]

Speaking more, the new Geekbench listing suggests that Samsung’s One UI 8 development is progressing quickly and necessary optimizations are already being done. To add, the build version of the One UI 8 custom skin running on the Geekbench-listed Galaxy S25 device is ‘S931BXXU3BYDV’.

Speaking more, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone (SM-F966U) was also spotted on the Geekbench database last month with the One UI 8 custom skin on it. To add, reports state that Samsung would likely skip the One UI 7.1 update and directly roll-out the One UI 8 update. It is also said that the One UI 8 release could take place while the brand’s One UI 7 roll-out drags on.

About the One UI 7 roll-out, Samsung has already begun the One UI 7 official version roll-out to the global audience, and many flagship Galaxy smartphones and tablets have received it. From May 2025 to July 2025, the brand aims to make it available to many more Galaxy devices, as per the hint given by Samsung Thailand.
